Hip Hop Videos Worth Watching

Here are a few videos I found, or that found me on the Internet lately that I think are pretty cool and worth checking out.

Love the beat on this new Rasco track. Nice rhymes too, of course. Looking forward to another offering from Rasco - and hopefully another Cali Agents project at some point.


Mayday! is a Hip Hop Band from Miami, FL. I've heard some stuff from them in the past and they're really good. Here, they team up with Del Tha Funkee Homosapien for a good song with a pretty entertaining video.


Lastly, here is Atmosphere's latest video off their 2011 release, The Family Sign. Visuals are for "Last to Say", a song about domestic violence being passed down to the next generation. Great editing job on this video.

Atmosphere - Just For Show

When one of my favorite MCs/groups has an album coming out that I'm really anticipating, I usually try to avoid listening to any leaked songs ahead of the release. I wanna be able to go in completely fresh and hear the whole thing for the first time. It's better that way, in my opinion. I've been weak with this new Atmosphere album though. I think I've heard three songs now. Or, maybe two if "Minnesota Nice" doesn't show up on there, which I don't think it will. It's that much more difficult when they have a video to go with the song. And this video for "Just For Show" is pretty great.

Atmosphere - "To All My Friends"

Here is a brand new song from Atmosphere released as a set up to their upcoming tour, All My Friends. I don't have a d/l link because they requested they not be posted. So, if you like it go to iTunes and purchase here. Not a big deal if you are a fan of Atmosphere because you know just how much free music they have put out over the years.

I, myself, am gonna try to dig up an iTunes gift card I think I have lying around here somewhere and get it tomorrow morning. Plus, the tour is stopping pretty close by Cincinnati, so if at all possible (time and finances being the major obstacles), I'm gonna try to check them out live for the second time.
